| What we do | Gabriel House is a supported accommodation for individuals who have faced the adversity of rough sleeping, verified by dedicated outreach teams, or those transitioning from diverse emergency accommodations. The pathway to Gabriel House is navigated through the Access to Accommodation Hub (A2A), an alliance of agencies both statutory and voluntary, united in their mission to secure suitable housing solutions. In addition, healthcare professionals, fellow providers of homeless services, and other municipal authorities also contribute referrals. Gabriel House offers a total of 45 units, accommodating both single individuals and couples. The variety of living spaces includes ensuite rooms for one or two occupants, complemented by shared kitchen facilities in each cluster of rooms. The residents often grapple with the intertwined challenges of substance dependence, recurring legal issues, and homelessness. At Gabriel House, the strategy is to embrace a comprehensive service model in addressing the needs of these individuals. With a commitment to thorough support and partnership with external organisations, Gabriel House endeavours to surmount the hurdles its residents face, all with the end goal of securing housing solutions that cater to the distinct needs of each individual. |
